The box was the easy part

Factories hung up suggestion boxes more than a century ago. Ideas went in; word of what became of them rarely came back. RondiLoop sends that word.

The suggestion box of the Bournville Works, engraved in 1903.
A worker drops a suggestion into the box at the H. J. Heinz plant, 1909.
An answer that came back: cheques for accepted suggestions at the U.S. Navy’s 11th Naval District, 1950s.

One request, start to finish

Jane asked Acme Invoices for background PDF exports. This is the way her message takes. You make the decisions; GitHub events move the rest along.

Draft the changelog

AI writes an entry from the merged pull requests, in your users’ language, grouped into New, Improved and Fixed. It stays a draft until you publish it.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

On our servers in Germany, with backups in the EU. Emails go out through Brevo (France); error reports stay on our own servers.

Does feedback go to an AI provider?

The AI features use Claude by Anthropic (USA). Before any text is sent, email addresses, phone numbers, bank and card details, IP addresses and the sender’s own name are masked. Names and addresses are never sent as fields. You can switch AI off per project.

Do I need GitHub?

The widget, inbox, roadmap and changelog work without it, and you can write changelog entries by hand. The issue sync and the drafts from pull requests need a GitHub repository with the GitHub App installed. GitLab, Linear and Jira aren’t supported.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, at no extra cost. Point a CNAME such as feedback.yourproduct.com at your project’s address and the certificate is issued automatically. Until then, everything runs on your project’s address under rondiloop.com.

Can I import from Canny, Featurebase or Fider?

Not yet. Importers for Canny, Featurebase, Fider and CSV are planned, but they don’t exist today.

Is it open source? Can I host it myself?

That isn’t decided yet. For now, RondiLoop is a hosted service.

Does the widget set cookies?

No. The widget and the public pages set no cookies and load nothing from third parties.

When does it launch?

There’s no date yet. The early-access list hears first.
